This is a creek that runs through the little town of Leiper's Fork. The photo was taken in early Spring so there was a lot of new spring growth on the grass and along the banks of the water.
This painting underwent quite a transformation. I painted this scene using one photo that just did not work out. I know you artists understand. I then used another photo taken at the same scene but with a little different view. This one worked out much better. Sometimes we need to use our magic tricks to make a painting read better.
