This cluster of buildings sitting in the snowy woods gives me a real sense of coziness and solitude. All the cool blues, both in the shadows and on the rooftops, contribute to the comfortable yet wintry setting. Yet the pops of gold let you be assured that the sun is still shining and hitting the sides of the buildings and warming the insides. Wouldn't you just love to be holed up in this cozy place reading a good book while waiting for the spring thaws?
I love that you captured the coolness of the scene and complimented it with the warm sun on the building. Just love it!
